The Institute for Evidence-Based Change is expanding our reach to establish a culture of care on campuses nationwide by welcoming our first university, Texas A&M University – Kingsville, to the Caring Campus community.
As we welcome a new year, IEBC President Brad Phillips sends this message welcoming these new opportunities to help our colleges establish a culture of care and impact the lives of students. We are launching two powerful new programs that will help colleges deepen their Caring Campus work, and are expanding our Caring Campus offerings into universities.

This November 9 webinar introduced the new Caring Campus Network and the new Caring Campus Academy with IEBC President/CEO Brad Phillips, and IEBC Coaches Trudy Bers and Loredana Carson. Long Beach, Calif. – Five new California community colleges will participate in the Fall 2023 cohort of the Institute for Evidence-Based Change (IEBC) Caring Campus partnership.
IEBC will expand Caring Campus to rural community colleges through a new $748,000 grant from the ECMC Foundation. The expansion will target students who face obstacles in accessing post-secondary education.
Created By IEBC and CCRC, this new ‘Caring Campus Toolkit – Monitoring And Assessing Implementation and Impact’ has been designed as a guide with tools you can use to monitor and assess the implementation and impact of Caring Campus at any stage of implementation.
