Reflecting on Another Remarkable Year

Dear Caring Campus Community,

As 2025 draws to a close, I would like to reflect on another incredible year filled with progress, partnership, and purpose, as well as many impactful milestones with Caring Campus. The dedication demonstrated by our Caring Campus institutions throughout the year has also been truly remarkable, underscoring a shared commitment to fostering student belonging and supporting student success.

Throughout 2025, Caring Campus Network (CCN) members took advantage of innovative benefits designed to deepen engagement and strengthen implementation. Members enjoyed access to free and engaging webinars, certification eligibility, a robust artifacts database filled with creative ideas, discounted Caring Campus Academy (CCA) enrollment, and reduced conference rates. These resources helped CCN institutions continue building sustainable cultures of care. CCN membership renewal is due Feb. 28renew today to continue accessing these valuable benefits.

2025 was another incredible year filled with progress, partnership, and purpose, as well as many impactful milestones with Caring Campus.

We are also pleased to share that the CCA will now be open to institutions that have not yet completed Caring Campus training. This expansion will help even more colleges begin meaningful conversations around connection, belonging, and student success, as well as widen the network of professionals dedicated to student success. Our next CCA cohort launches in April 2026, stay tuned!

This year, we celebrated our first nine institutions to receive Caring Campus Certification: Patrick & Henry Community College, Northeast Lakeview College, West Los Angeles College, Yuba College, Hartnell College, Mission College, Ranger College, Texas A&M University – Kingsville, and Los Angeles Pierce College. Each of these institutions showcase an extraordinary commitment to students, creating warm, welcoming, and supportive environments that foster belonging and success. We look forward to recognizing even more certified institutions in the year aheadyours could be next

In November, we brought the Caring Campus community together for our inaugural conference, Building a National Culture of Care. Nearly 200 staff, faculty, and administrators joined us in San Diego for three days of connection, collaboration, and meaningful learning. With powerful keynote speakers, immersive sessions, and rich networking opportunities, the conference energized and inspired attendees to continue championing care on their campuses.

Thank you to each of the incredible colleges, universities, and foundations that partnered with us in 2025. Your dedication to student success and your commitment to creating caring, supportive campuses continue to inspire us. It has been an extraordinary year, and we cannot wait to see what comes next.
