Lauren J. Sanders
Chaffey College student; President, Black Caucus of the California Community Colleges Student Senate
Born in Bloomington, Indiana and raised in California, Lauren Sanders is a graduate of Chaffey College & San Bernardino Valley College where she received Associate degrees in Liberal Arts, Child Development, Human Services and Business. She graduated from Bellevue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human & Social Services Administration.
Sanders plans on furthering her education with advanced degrees in counseling that will allow her to practice as a school counselor or a marriage and family therapist and work on her own nonprofit organization, Sisters With Success (SWS), which is a women’s empowerment nonprofit organization that turned 11 in April 2020.
In her spare time, Sanders enjoys spending time with her loved ones, writing poetry, fundraising, planning events, reading, traveling, playing dominoes, going to the beach, watching movies, and helping others. She is actively involved in her church, the community and is a number of various nonprofit organizations.
