Los Angeles Pierce College Establishes Supportive Culture Through Caring Campus
Pierce College focused first on implementing Caring Campus for staff in spring 2022, prioritizing training for those who are the college’s earliest point of contact for students. The school then expanded training to faculty, completing the Caring Campus program on February 29, and ensuring that the entire Pierce College team was equipped to create and support an ongoing culture of care.
Campus and Guided Pathways Create Impactful Student Experience for Diverse Learners
Dr. Robert Johnstone, a leading national voice for Guided Pathways and founder of the National Center for Inquiry and Improvement, cites Caring Campus as a vital tool to help colleges and universities ensure their students feel valued and cared for on campus.
Caring Campus Network – Spreading the Word and Balancing the Workload
Our first Caring Campus Network webinar was a huge success, with over 150 attendees! The webinar included discussions about successful Caring Campus implementation and advice on how staff can capitalize on the momentum of Caring Campus within their current workload led by Hinds Community College Director of Organizational Development Dr. Gay Saxon and Copper Mountain College Caring Campus Liaison Jared Zwicker.

The Caring Campus Network & Academy – View the Webinar
This November 9 webinar introduced the new Caring Campus Network and the new Caring Campus Academy with IEBC President/CEO Brad Phillips, and IEBC Coaches Trudy Bers and Loredana Carson. Caring Campus is a culture-changing effort embraced by senior leadership at college campuses across the U.S. Results include improved staff job satisfaction; better relations between staff, faculty, and leadership; and increased student connectedness.
